The picture above is of me (center) with my sister, Kaitlyn, and my Grandma and Grandpa Driggs. My passion of photography is in large part from my Grandpa Driggs. I can remember whenever we visited he always had his Nikon 35mm camera. He showed me the different things it could do, which I found amazing, but more importantly I saw how he always captured the moment. The memories that we have today from our visits get me through any tough times.
This picture above is of one of my first days of school. Gram and Gramp would come down from the camp, to watch me get on the bus and then would head south for the winter. There are a number of different pictures just like this one from throughout the years. These memories have inspired me to help others capture their memories so they can cherish them the same way I cherish mine.
This is the last photo I have of me and my grandfather.
I found him to be a very inspiration person who always had me reaching for the stars to achieve the best I could. I loved to talk to him about what was going on in school, about my new computers or my new cameras. (I always found it kind of funny that Grandpa knew more about technology than my dad!) He was always proud of me in what I did, so I take pride in knowing that even today he'd still be proud of me and all the memories that I'm helping to make for others!
So, today, I dedicate all the photos I may take to my grandfather, for inspiring me, even if indirectly, to pick up the camera and capture the moment. Memories are meant to be cherished, and I cherish mine every day! So I say this to you, capture all the memories you can! And if you want to make sure you're in those memories and not missing because you were behind the camera, give me a call or send me a message and I can help you out.
